  • Why can’t I get a final invoice total? 

    At this time BNA Books is unable to tell you online what your final total is.  Once your order is placed on our home page, we then calculate tax, shipping/handling, and your discount.  We will mail you an invoice that shows your final total.  If you pay by credit card, we will send you a confirmation that will indicate your final total.

     

  • Do I have to have a purchase order number?

    No you don’t. BNA Books does not require a purchase order number.  Some companies, however, will not honor an invoice unless it is associated with a purchase order.

     

  • Why do I have to sign up as a member?

    When you sign up as a member, the BNA Books website will retain your shipping and billing address so you don’t have to re-enter your information each time you visit the site. 

     

  • What do I do if I forget my login information?

    You can call us at (703) 341-5777; send us an e-mail at books@bna.com, or click on the “Contact Us” button and send us a message.

     

  • What are my payment options?

    You can pay with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), or we will gladly bill you.  You can also prepay, if you prefer to mail in your order.

     

  • Is my credit card information secure?

     Yes it is.  Our secure server software encrypts all your personal information (including credit card number, name and address) with 128-bit encryption, currently the most secure encryption software available. This encryption prevents your information from being read as it travels over the Internet. Additionally, most banks either cover all the charges that result from unauthorized use of your credit card or may limit your liability to a very small amount.

     

  • How long does it take to get my order?

    If a book is in stock, your order will be shipped the day after it is received via UPS Ground delivery.  Should you require your book overnight, please indicate a different method of shipping when you place your order.  If a book is not in stock or not yet published, we will send you a backorder invoice indicating that the book will be shipped as soon as it is available.

     

  •   How do I update my mailing information?

    You can send us an e-mail at books@bna.com with any corrections to your mailing information.  Please include your account number.  Or, you can click on the “Contact Us” button and send us your updated information.

  • How often are supplements published?

    Supplements are published as the laws change and make it necessary to update a main volume. Most of our supplements are published annually.

  • What is your policy on reprinting parts of  your books?

    Send a reprint request stating what you would like to reprint and how many copies will be made to Paul Kavanakudy, Business Administrator, BNA Books, 1801 S. Bell Street, Arlington, VA 22202. You can also fax your request to Paul at (703) 341-1610.

  • We're tax exempt; what can I do to stop my invoices from including taxes?

    When mailing an order, include a copy of your tax-exempt certificate, or if you place an order by phone, fax your certificate to (732) 346-1624.

  • How do I return a book?

    If you're not completely satisfied with your order, simply return it within 30 days of receipt for a full refund or cancellation of all charges.* Please include a copy of your invoice or packing slip for proper credit. Returns should be sent via UPS to: BNA Books, Attn: Returns Department, 30 Mayfield Avenue, Edison, NJ 08817.
    *If a method other than UPS Regular is requested for shipping (overnight, etc.) BNA Books will not refund shipping costs.

  • Do you offer overnight delivery?

    Same-day shipment is available for an additional $25.00 on orders called in to 1-800-960-1220 before 11:00 a.m. EST.

  • How do I find out who my BNA sales representative is?

    Call BNA's Customer Service Department at 1-800-372-1033. Books are ordered directly from BNA Books rather than through your BNA Sales representative.
